Philosophy

Contrary to most computer applications ROAM does not run under Windows.  We believe that there is no ideal or single best operating system or computing environment. Like master craftsmen we believe in using the right tool for the right job. When it comes to high-performance, on-line transaction processing we believe a text environment to be the best choice. Therefore, we chose the THEOS operating system as the platform for ROAM.

There are many tasks which require a graphical environment such as word processing, spreadsheets, or desktop publishing.  ROAM can co-exist with a Windows 95/98 network and we can integrate your network with our THEOS-based application.  Highly efficient computing environments are all about systems integration.
