Release Form Entry
Overview:
The release form entry program is used to update mailing list entries
with information about past activities. This program is used, as opposed
to the mailing list program, to speed up the entry and updating of
batches of release forms, grouped by activity and date. Entries made in
this program are saved in the Other,History,Items section of the Mailing List

- Main Screen -
Trip Date This is the date that the activity occured. This
program is not limited to activities, any code from any category
can be entered.
Trip Code This is the activity that occured, or any other code
from any other category.
Zip Code It's preferable to enter just the 5 digit zip code. If you
know the customer# of the person you are searching for, then press Tab
and enter the customer#.
Last Name The last name of the person on the release form.
First Name The first name or first initial of the person on
the release form.
Address Optional.
Once the above info is entered then the release form program performs
a search of the mailing list and presents all matching entries in a
window. One can be selected in order to view the complete mailing
list entry, or "*** NEW CUSTOMER ***" can be selected to make a new
entry into the mailing list.
When an entry is selected and displayed on the screen there are 3
possible actions:
M-Modify (+Update History) - This allows you to modify the entry, and
when done to update the person's history.
U-Update History - The correct person is displayed and you would like
to update their history.
S-Skip - Wrong person, return to list, and possibly select another.
When done with the current person, the cursor returns to the zip code
in order to search for the next person. When done with the batch for
the Trip Date and Trip Code, press the up arrow to enter another Trip
Date and Trip Code.
